Robert Burns Remembered in Scotland by some "Very Good Sports"

Haggis Hunter International (.com) have publically conveyed their very warmest "Scottish" wishes for Burns Night to all who have helped them grow and continue to believe there is a market for a strong independent jobs board like "Haggis Hunter International (.com)" in the Scottish Jobs Board arena.

Those wishes extend to all who will join the site in 2008, in turn assisting the ambitious jobs board to continue to offer a cost effective vacancy posting service.

Burns Night in the form of a Burns Supper is one of the most celebrated events in the Scottish cultural calendar (25th January for those who are not aware), not just here in Scotland.... but throughout the entire world.

Whilst some of the component parts of a "Burns Supper" are used in other Scottish cultural celebrations, like St Andrews Day celebrations, "Tartan Day" events etc.., the true Burns Supper follows a common agenda, specific to the celebration of the life, works & cultural heritage of Robert Burns.

In addition, as Robert Burns has evolved over more than 200 years to become an icon of Scotland & Scottish identity, the Burns Supper is also an important celebration of Scotland itself.

The main objective of a Burns Supper therefore is to celebrate the memory of Robert Burns and your Scottish heritage.

Whilst Burns Night approaches where many will enjoy, the address to the Haggis, the immortal memory, the toast to the lassies, reply from the lassies, bagpipes playing traditional Scottish music, recitals of Burns poetry, enjoying the traditional meal of "Haggis Neaps and Tatties" and a tipple or two of whisky, the business owners of Haggis Hunter International will sadly be hard at work establishing a strong internet presence for the jobs board and their client vacancies. That's not to say that they won't be enjoying a good haggis neaps and tatties meal as they do so!

Before enjoying the annual Burns celebrations themselves, three "very good sports" from Scotland, have taken time out of their busy schedule to offer their best wishes for Burns Night to the clients and job seekers of Haggis Hunter International for 2008.

The alternative "Toast to The Haggis" from ...

Gavin Hastings

"Wishing you all much success on Burns Night 2008 and I hope that you find everything that you are looking for on Haggis Hunter International (.com)"

Kenny Logan

"May the clients and job seekers on Haggis Hunter International have a very enjoyable Burns Night 2008 and may you reap the many benefits of this ambitious Scottish jobs board throughout the year. Best wishes Kenny Logan"

Gregor Townsend

"Here's to a fantastic Burns Night for Job Seekers and Recruiters on Haggis Hunter International. Best wishes for a great 2008."

Our many thanks to these Scottish Rugby legends for their contribution. All at Haggis Hunter International will certainly be glued to the TV for the forthcoming six nations tournament and wishing Scotland "awe ra very best".

And finally back to business...

Job Opportunities in Scotland

Job Opportunities in Scotland.

Contributor: Donogh O’Brien, Munro Consulting, Glasgow (Edinburgh Glasgow & Aberdeen)

Source: Ken Kemp, Recruitment Matters, Staffing Industry Training Specialists

For many chasing the elusive work life balance, Scotland has increasingly become a destination of choice, particularly working across the “central belt” with excellent transport links between Edinburgh and Glasgow by rail, road and even bus.

Did you know that Newcastle can be reached from Edinburgh in ninety minutes and London in little more than four hours by train?

Contrary to those who have never ventured ‘North of Watford,’ Scotland does experience much fine weather throughout the year and most noticeable in summer months with the extended daylight hours providing golfers a chance to get in an evening game!

Scotland presents a unique possibility for frustrated commuters. Diverting that travel time to a career in Scotland can connect you with scenes of stunning natural beauty such as Loch Lomond, the Ayrshire coast, Perthshire and the Borders. Similarly on the East coast, travel from Aberdeen through St Andrews to Edinburgh and down to North Berwick towards Newcastle.

Donogh O’Brien who heads the Public Sector practice at Munro Consulting, Scotland’s leading independent executive search organisation with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and London, has done just that.

His office base is Glasgow and he is regularly seen travelling by train between Scotland’s political and cultural capitals, Edinburgh and Glasgow, respectively.

He feels his own experience of relocating from London to the Ayrshire coast has given him the perfect work-life balance from the surroundings of “Golfer’s Paradise”, a fifty minute commute to Glasgow City Centre and an ability to bring up a family where property prices are still “affordable!”

He uses his own experience of relocating to assist others to make the transition to the many diverse opportunities that await Senior Professionals within Scottish Public Sector. Donogh comments that working with Munro Consulting has provided him with the flexibility to be able to mix a rewarding job with sporting pursuits and bringing up a young family.

Munro Consulting are currently expanding in their six key sector areas and are actively seeking experienced consultants who may be considering a geographical relocation.

For more information, please visit Munro Consulting's website or contact, Recruitment to Recruitment Consultant, Shirley Anne Woods, Managing Director of The Recruitment Works (Scotland) Limited on +44 (0)1259 272122, CV's emailled in the strictest confidence to shirley.woods@therecruitmentworks.com

Scotland The Brave - Our Job Board Guarantee

Haggis Hunter International (.com), Scotland's latest Jobs Board targeting the Scottish Jobs market are making a very bold and generous statement to their current and prospective Clients.

Shirley Anne Woods, Managing Director comments "Most new job boards launch, offer a month or two free trial, then feel it necessary to start charging without proving that they can deliver and recruiters have to take them at face value and gamble on additional expenditure, with no guarantees on a return for their investment."

New Scottish Job Board Launch

Haggis Hunter International (.com) is a welcome and refreshing new Scottish jobboard, aiming to secure your support and enthusiasm for its swift growth and leading market placement.

It’s still very early days for this new Scottish independent jobsite, however its success will almost certainly stem from its simple to use, easy on the eye look and feel, assisted by the shear enthusiasm and passion of its team.

Novices in the market-place, maybe, but don’t mistake this and hedge your bets. You will only be disappointed, as their desire remains strong to promote this jobsite as one of Scotland’s leading portal’s for sourcing staff globally over the world-wide web.

100% independent and free from ownership from media groups or newspapers, with absolutely no alliances or associations with existing job boards, they stand firm in their belief of success in an already competitive market place.

International, very much so, as they hope to promote the site globally to job seekers looking to travel and work throughout the UK, offering temporary city job opportunities to back-packers from as far away as Australia, and long term careers to those wishing to return to the beautiful land of the midge from the South or overseas.

On offer at launch, free and unlimited job posting for all, to direct employers and Recruitment Consultancies alike, followed swiftly later in the year by the wider availability of their CV Search facility.

From the outset, plenty of available logo advertising slots at highly competitive, one-off launch prices. Also up for grabs, featured job adverts, banner and sector sponsorship advertisements, so few will be disappointed.

So many job boards come and go in the blink of an eye, and few are barely memorable, but be prepared for Haggis Hunter International (.com) to last the pace and keep up with those presently in online dominance.

For free and unlimited advertising register early at
www.haggishunterinternational.com. Offer expires 31st October 2007.
